Reviews
Very nice restaurant with a lot of activity on the patio due to beautiful weather. Perfect spot after a nice long walk in Memorial Park. We couldn't decide so shared the hamburger (though we subbed the English muffin for a bun) & hot chicken. The hot chicken was both of our favorite of the two. My boyfriend loved the fries because they were crispy on the outside without being over done. They were a little too thin for my taste but like I said, my boyfriend loved, loved, loved them. (He also loves me so there's no accounting for his taste. Ha!) I would definitely go again.
Stopped by for a quick dinner and saw great reviews on this place. There's additional parking across the street with an actual lot which is quite nice, rather than just street parking. Very packed restaurant, sat down within 10 minutes for 2. Plenty of fans & heaters in the patio. Our server was good. Their upDated old fashion was decent. The basil pesto & the bolognese pasta was good. However the short rib pizza was horrendous. I taste like it was made for children or picky eaters trying to experiment, the vinaigrette resembles bbq sauce. Then it was garnished with pickled & green onion, literally made with someone's eyes closed. Overall, a decent restaurant. Speedy service & good pasta.
This is a perfect brunch or lunch spot, especially when you're with kids. The self-service area in the back has a playground next to the tables so you can sit down while the kids get their wiggles out a few feet away. (Anyone with small children knows how impossible it is to get them to sit down for an entire leisurely-paced meal.) You order from the bartender in that area, and they bring it to your table. More importantly, I also enjoyed the food here! The brunch menu has a lot going for it, and anywhere with a great hummus plate is a winner in my book.
d'Alba is a cute neighborhood bar with elevated offerings. You can park on the street, in the small lot adjacent to the restaurant, or in the lot across the street (just be aware of signs since not all spots are restaurant parking). When you arrive, you restaurant yourself and the staff comes pretty quickly to greet you. My friend and I enjoyed outdoor seating and it was nice and spacious. I ordered the sparkling rose; if you are there for happy hour, it is on special. We tried the hummus (delectable, especially with the green olives!) and I had one of the pastas. I can't remember it's name, but it was REALLY good. We enjoyed our trip and would go back!
Amazing music and outdoor eating. Food was delicious!!!! Service was great too. Limited parking but worth the trip.
